First, very, very nice.

Second, I don't think this is questionable pedagogy at all. In organic chemistry, we still have our students do model kit experiments. You know me. I think Jmol should replace Prentice/Hall in this regard, maybe Spartan also. Your "I had to do it" is just one more tool that allows Jmol to be used as a complete student model kit. I've been loosing sleep trying to think of a way to have Jmol sculpt a chair into a boat!

As per your note on the test page, the minimization lesson is also valuable. Prentice/Hall can't demonstrate that.
