The same problem stays in 12.0.RC17 and I'm finding more strange
behaviours that, altough unrelated in principle, may have the same
origin:

I am calling a script file (that acts on the current model, does not
load anything). When invoked from a button in the page, if raises a
Java security error, but if I open the console, press the up arrow to
gte the latest command (which is the script file load) and Enter, it
does work.

This happens with 12.0.RC17 and 11.9.29, and happens no matter where
I put the script file: with the applet files or in a folder below it.

The same setup used to work with a former version of Jmol (11.6
probably), and a similar folder setup (only now the Jmol folder is
parallel with the page folder and it used to be a descendant).

I will keep investigating, but this is very disturbing, so if you
have ideas do put them forward.

May it be something related to the recent Java 1.5 base?

Thanks
