Bob, We exchanged some notes on bond (conformation) rotation in the model kit. Since I could not get the "rotate bond" to rotate branches, I just assumed that we were not thinking about the same rotation type. I went back to my clumsy 2 click approach to rotate branches. I just loaded 12.0_RC20. Either the bond rotation was broken on the earlier version that I was using, or I completely missed the "shift/drag to either side of the bond" approach. Wow is the bond rotation in RC20 slick!
I don't think there is a program that gives a better feeling that you are holding a ball and stick model in your hand than the Jmol modelkitmode.
