No, I just don't want measurements at all. My problem is, that if I select an atom and double-click it by mistake Jmol starts his measurement. Normal selection needs to be provided for some other visualisation-tools I wrote. The measurements are not needed in any way for my purposes. Thats why a wanted to turn them off. Fortunately "set picking measure distance" just turns off all the drawn stuff I don't want to see. So Jmol can measure what it wants and I don't need to see it. That's what I wanted - hiding :)
So thanks for the quick and useful response :) Stefan ====================== Robert Hanson schrieb: ---------------------- You mean you want to do the measurements - get the values - but not show the lines? Q: Is the user picking these atoms, or are you doing it with scripting? set picking measure distance allows you to get the measurement information (using a pickCallback or, I think measureCallback) without any lines showing up.
