I was expecting the following command to give a geometric cylinder with flat 
ends; however, instead the end caps are rounded.
draw CYLINDER DIAMETER 50 FILL  {0 0 .8} {-2 1.8 .8} 
(Trying this in Jmol 12.1.1 )

Changing FILL to MESH NOFILL does indeed do as it says in the documentation and 
give an open-ended cylinder. The documentation under [display option] does 
later 
say FILL makes smooth surfaces which I guess rounded end caps are. However, is 
there an additional parameter to make cylinders with flat ends?
