Pardon if it was already noted; however, there is a paper in the latest issue 
of 
the journal Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education on comparing Jmol to 
another software for teaching undergraduates. Unfortunately, although it is 
being published now, it used the 2008 version of Jmol and I hope educators 
reading that article and evaluating what to use realize a lot of development of 
Jmol has been taking place.

In that issue there are also several articles concerning Proteopedia where Jmol 
features prominently.
