Jmol users,
Here's a link to the Prezi presentation I'm planning to make at the
International Council for Scientific and Technical Information Winter
Workshop tomorrow in Redmond, Washington. The focus of the workshop is
on *Multimedia
and Visualisation Innovations for Science*, so my goal is to introduce this
rather broad audience to the capabilities of Jmol. Obviously I had to be
selective! The presentation is not meant to be self-explanatory, and it's
actually much more than this (there are hidden links in there that activate
actual Jmol pages -- hint -- look for the white lines), but I thought some
of you might enjoy it anyway. It's my first attempt at a Prezi presentation;
I just thought it would be fun to put together that way (which it was!). It
will probably still morph a bit between now and tomorrow. The beginning part
just follows the path that got me into Jmol in the first place. The
presentation is only about 20 minutes long, so I had to be pretty selective.

If nature does not answer first what we want,
it is better to take what answer we get.

The modern datacenter depends on network connectivity to access resources
and provide services. The best practices for maximizing a physical server's
connectivity to a physical network are well understood - see how these
rules translate into the virtual world?
