FYI, and perhaps someone will have comments or additional info. Also I wonder if other Mac users can confirm this.
Currently, I am getting intermittant inability to copy the state script from the Jmol console on my Mac (OS 10.5.8, java 1.5.0_28) in either Safari or Firefox. Also intermittant failure to paste any copied script into the Jmol console on my Mac. However, I can still do both copy and paste in Windows (XP or Vista, IE or Firefox, java 1.6.0_24). In the past I could reliably copy and paste on the Mac using Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V (instead of the Mac convention Cmd-C, Cmd-V). I could also drag and drop blocked scripts. This also fails now on my Mac. Since this still works in Windows, I suspect and hope that it is a temporary problem with Apple java 1.5.0_28 that will go away in the next version. It appeared to me that you can still copy and paste from/to the Jmol console in the SIGNED Jmol applet on a Mac, though my testing of this was less thorough. -Eric ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Colocation vs. Managed Hosting A question and answer guide to determining the best fit for your organization - today and in the future. http://p.sf.net/sfu/internap-sfd2d _______________________________________________ Jmol-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jmol-users
