Hi Daniel,

I'm still using MSIE 8, but when I had some initial problems with 8, I
found a MS site that explained the use of MSIE compatibility mode. The line
from MS was essentially this: In order to push forward the frontiers of Web
viewing some things must be left behind, etc, etc...

Cutting to the chase, they provide a Compatibility Setting under tools menu
that essentially allows you to add sites that are allowed to step backward
in MSIE time. I'm assuming 9 still has this "feature." Maybe that will
solve your problem.

Sorry for the MSIE sarcasm, but as a long time MS product user, I must
admit that MS can be trying at times.

Subject: Re: [Jmol-users] Problem with IE9

One more thing, interesting: When I use IE to render the pages within
Firefox (that is, I open the pages in the IETab add-on), they show up just
fine. So it seems to be something in the default security settings in IE9
that is causing the problem. Daniel BergerProfessor of ChemistryBluffton
