I have a modified state script that freezes the Jmol application
12.0.47. No error message is given in the Jmol Script Console. I want
to check the Java Console for an error message, but I have not been
able to open it.

I am using Apple Mac OS 10.5.8 (Leopard) with its current Apple java.

When I run the Jmol applet in Safari, a java icon appears at the top
of my screen. That opens a menu with Show Console. But that console
does not seem to report anything from the application.

When I "hide" that console (type "q" when it is the active window) I
can't find it either. It does not minimize onto the task bar.

I tried "java" in Terminal to get help, and got help, but no mention
of the console. Ditto for "man java".

It must be really obvious -- please help this old dinosaur!

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
