Since I installed Java 7 from Oracle, there have been two updates, the latest to implement an Apple policy of deactivating Java if the OS detects lack of use.
This last (or was it the one before) broke the ability to run Jmol in Safari. I followed the instructions at http://java.com/en/download/help/mac_uninstall_java.xml and re-installed Apple's Java 6, and normal service resumed. So there still seem to be issues with Oracle's version. Can anyone replicate? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
