Dear all,

I was able to import an externally-generated isosurface described by a
collection of vertices and faces in to Jmol by converting it into the
PMESH format; then, I saved from Jmol into the JVXL format to increase
performance.

Now I would like to add per-vertex color attributes, and apparently
neither the PMESH nor the OBJ format enable me to do that, since the OBJ
format only allows per-polygon color attributes.

However, looking at the code I can see that JVXL XML format has a
jvxlColorData attribute. I also found a thread on the mailing list which
deals with this matter, but it did not help me.

In short, I have three questions for you:
1) If you have it, could please send me a sample JVXL which has
per-vertex color attributes?
2) could you tell me how I should encode per-vertex RGB data in ASCII
format in the JVXL file?
3) is there a way to also include a per-vertex transparency attribute?

Thanks a lot for your help, best regards
Paolo
