I am certainly not observing that. You sure? I know it used to be, but big
improvements were made some time ago to make that much much faster. Can we
do some timings?
For example, at http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/jsmol/simple.htm
I'm getting a structure display in 3 seconds here (not at St. Olaf). I'm
sure it's slower in Spain. How much slower? With Java it's taking about 5
seconds, but that is counting clicking permissions, of course.
