Safari on Mac:

When you select "write", you get a dialogue box to give the file a name. If
you do so you have the choice of "Cancel" or "OK". Is saves it in either case.
Furthermore, the save process opens a new blank window instead of returning
to the open page; depending on how you have Safari set up, this is a new tab or
a totally new window.
