Tried this and the latest release and I'm afraid there's still a problem.
I've experimented quite a bit and it looks like an assembly that is
generated by using *only* the identity operation is causing the problem.
e.g. in the cae of 3fsx:

loop_
_pdbx_struct_assembly_gen.assembly_id
_pdbx_struct_assembly_gen.oper_expression
_pdbx_struct_assembly_gen.asym_id_list
1 1 A,F,G,H,I,J,Z,C,N,P,BA,B,K,L,M,O,AA # <-- here symop 1 is 1_555 x,y,z ...
2 1,2,3 D,Q,R,S,T,U,DA
3 '1,2,3' E,V,W,X,Y,CA

load =3fsx.cif filter "ASSEMBLY 1" fails (with the error reported
below in Jsmol - the java applet just 'hangs'),

while load =3fsx.cif filter "ASSEMBLY 2"
and load =3fsx.cif filter "ASSEMBLY 3"
are OK.

Sorry for not being able to report back sooner (i.e. before you put out 13.3.8
- though this is a relatively minor bug as most people seem to
work with pbb files rather than mmcifs :-)

Cheers

Simon
