Yes, of course, povray works fine, compiled from source and optimized
with SlackBuild script to use both cores in 64bit. I have used with
previous versions of Jmol, configured binary path to /usr/bin/povray
and Jmol saved that path, so 14.1.11 recognized prior parameters.
Though, I noticed that UCSF Chimera in 64bit version is distributed
with povray binary poorly optimized to use a single core and facing
troubles with memory management in clear 64bit linux environment. I
think that Jmol has better concept to pipe data to external povray
binary. I attached a snapshot of the dialog window, if it could help
somehow. "Go!" button is ineffective, actually it creates *.pov file,
but can't start povray. (I mentioned earlier that I tried with Jmol
14.1.8 in parallel with 14.1.11 and povray worked perfectly with
version 14.1.8)
With attachment I braked the size limit, so I discard image and you can see
it on the link http://i58.tinypic.com/wlnaq.png
