I think I tripped across the cause of a minor warning in the chrome developer
tools console when running JSmol.
The warning is:
event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault()
instead.
In JSmol.full.js and JSmol.full.iite.js the following function seems to be
referencing this deprecated method:
