I have tested Jmol signed applet 14.0.4 with Java 1.7.0_55 via
FirstGlance in Jmol. All browsers are up to date with the latest releases.
Everything works fine except Chrome in Windows seems to be
incompatible with this new Java version.
Mac OS X (10.9.2)
- Safari = OK
- Firefox = OK
- (Chrome 32 bit not compatible with 64 bit Java)
Windows XP
- Internet Explorer 8 = OK
- Firefox = OK
- Opera = OK
- Chrome: JAVA FAILS TO COMPLETE LOADING. <---!!!
KILLING CHROME WAS CHALLENGING AND TOOK SEVERAL MINUTES.
AFTERWARDS I HAD TO RESTART WINDOWS XP TO GET ANYTHING TO WORK.
Windows 7
- Internet Explorer 11 = OK
- Firefox = OK
- Opera = OK
- Chrome: JAVA FAILS TO COMPLETE LOADING. <---!!!
