Thanks, Bob "set defaultVDW user" is working very well now. However, I had a script with "halos" (meaning halos on) that has stopped displaying halos after I use "set defaultVDW user" and a data command. (I know I have to issue "spacefill" again after that.) It seems that the size of the halo is minimal -- unseen. If I do "halos 50%" it works, but it's not so optimal as it does not adjust to the current spacefill setting. I have not been able to isolate the exact circumstance to provide a sample case, so please do not put yet much time into it but, do you think of a reason why this could happen?
