The Jmol Jar files are signed already with a trusted certificate since several months. How does our Jmol-based 'Jena3D Viewer' (http://jenalib.fli-leibniz.de/cgi-bin/3d_mapping.pl?CODE=1deh&APPLET=java) work for you, having Jmol 14.0.5?
Independant of a trusted certificate most recent browser versions additionally ask for permission to activate the Java browser plugin. You have to do this at least once (if you select option "allow permanently") or every time (if you select option "allow this time").
