I had understood this was something specific to Chrome (and maybe Safari 
since it uses the same engine), though I was not aware it would be tied to 
some JSmol versions.
I remember this was considered some trivial issue -in this list- and there was 
a way to hide that alert, but I have not added that trick in my pages. It can 
be 
done.
