Hello Gabor I'm not a programmer, but I'd like to add some comments in this discussion.
Jmol has a lot of power, but it is not mainly a programming language. It is a file reader, parser and viewer with many features. > With a wealth of commands/command options, the user's previously > typed commands (that were often found not easily) are of real value. > It would be nice if these could be recalled from previous sessions. I dont know if you are aware of this: You can use up-arrow from the console to retrieve last-used commands (i.e. those in the history). But when you say "previous sessions", I understand that the Jmol window has been closed in between. That is not currently recoverable. > I still think that this would be a simple and straightforward > improvement. Where would that data be saved? and compatible with any operating system? How to control how much disk space will be available for that storage? How to clear it? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Comprehensive Server Monitoring with Site24x7. Monitor 10 servers for $9/Month.
