Excellent advice. label "\u2022" // bullet does indeed work, in isolation

Unfortunately our example is more complex. A typical command looks like this

          <area shape="rect" coords="88,136,183,230" 
href="javascript:jmolScript('load model/Clradterm.xyz;….jmolscript 
commands...;set labelOffset 0 0;font label 20serif bold;color label orange; 
label•;…. more jmolscript commands…. ')" />
so I’ve used up “ and ‘ which makes it difficult to put the \u2022 in quotes. I 
tried the usual trick of \’ instead but this did not work.

Until today I have used alt-8 on the Mac OS keyboard to generate the radical 
dot but it is stopping the code running now. I have found that the degree sign 
shift-alt-8 on Mac OS ° displays just fine.

I don’t understand why shift-alt-8 is OK but alt-8 is not.
