Jmol code is fully compatible with Java 1.6, so that is not the problem.

Mac 10.6. (Java 1.6.0_65) + Jmol 14.2.9 -> NG *7

This worked fine for me Windows/Firefox.
I do note that I had to click the button on the bottom left to get rid of
your  cover image so that I could click the "activate Java" link.

This should only be occurring with the very most recent versions of Jmol --
built in the last week, using a new laptop that I forgot to add the
required translation executables to.

I will try to get another version out later today, at least at chemapps.
Please try that when you get the notice.
