I'm not surprised. I plugged some holes that were in this notation. Angel
is right. What you were using there was an undocumented "feature" that is
not any longer.
Along with things like
select * * *
You might also want to note that you can accidentally slip into
case-sensitive mode by accidentally using two digits for the chain:
select :aa
oops! Now Jmol thinks you are looking for case-sensitive multi-character
chains until the next file load.
Now
select :a
may not work anymore. You will need
select :A
now. So I recommend using the correct case in the first place. But I'm
going to keep working on this and see if there is a way to prevent that.
There aren't that many structures with multiple-character chains, and I
should be able to avoid that sort of thing.
