Dear Bob,

'set antialiasdisplay' is a bit onerous to type. (<whimper />)

I know I can make a script file but 'script q.spt' isn't much better.

Is there another way to shorten typing of frequently used commands?

I am still very much in favor of an alias capability, e.g.

alias q 'set antialiasdisplay' # q mnemonic for quality
alias s 'script $1.spt'

's hiq' would expand to 'script hiq.spt'
'q off' would expand to 'set antialiasdisplay off'

Then one could put one's personal favorite aliases in a script file and
voila!

Eric
