Hi, Bob, I would love to have a button in FirstGlance in Jmol that, when pushed, would generate a spinning animation multi-gif of the current view. I suppose this would be possible only in the signed Java applet (not in JSmol).
In the application, the command is capture "filename.gif" spin y I have not been able to get this to work in the applet. I was hoping that capture ? spin y would open a file-save dialog, similar to write pdb ? in the application, but I see that that write command doesn't work in the applet either. Is there, or can you envision, a solution? Being able to generate a multi-gif from the applet in FirstGlance (for use in Powerpoint) would be very popular, I think!
