Apologies for sending the whole digest back to the list. Never done that before
and not quite sure how it happened. Posted last night from my personal address
at home, mail bounced, and all I thought I had done was to change the address
and resend. Anyway I don’t expect Bob will be able to answer this until he’s
back from his travels, but I may as well repost:

When I load large pdb files, especially over a slow connection (e.g. at home)
on my web application using JSmol, the display area is filled with status
information of the type:

Jmol._Canvas2D (Jmol) “myJmol” [x]
http://...

I have received feedback from users that they assumed something was wrong when
they saw this. It may be useful to someonel in debugging, but is not really
something the end user should see. Is there any way of suppressing it and
preferably replacing it by a “loading” indicator?

David

PS Bob, if you want to visit Glasgow while you’re in Dundee, just phone.
