Does translucency work in WebGL version of Jmol?

I was trying out the WebGL version of JSmol and was very impressed with the
fluid movement. However, trying out the WebGL implementation for the Virtual
Museum of Minerals and Molecules, I couldn't get translucency to work for the
polyhedra.

To verify, I wrote to the console on the caffeine molecule at
http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/jsmol/jsmolgl.htm
:<http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/jsmol/jsmolgl.htm>

select *;polyhedra {*} DELETE;polyhedra 4 BONDS; color polyhedra translucent
grey

In Java and html5, it produced the desired results but not WebGL. Tried both FF
and Chrome to make sure this was not a browser implementation thing. Looking at
the Jmol wiki, I see "The WebGL modality of JSmol has not been fully developed
and feature support is limited"

Can Bob confirm that transparency is one of the missing features and kindly
inform as to if/when it might be provided?
