Apple skipped a size on this one. Choices are 32, 128, 256. I went with 128. 
Even with that, I'm keeping a lot more data on my iPad than I did before - bird 
photos, chem demo videos,  and web site stuff. Another neat tool right now is a 
memory stick that has usb and lightning connectors. Carrying huge iPad data 
memory in your pocket is now option. I tried several. I find PNY to have the 
best. These things work off an App that talks to the various iPad sandboxes. 
There is still some horsing around to get stick files to the App that you want, 
but after an initial learning curve, it's pretty straight forward.
