Rick,

I'm not sure what your timescale is or your exact requirements, but we will
soon be launching Molecule Portrait Maker, a new service that lets users
create photo-realistic images from molecules created in JSmol. You can see
some examples of the images that you can make here:
http://www.indigomolecularimages.com/molecule-portrait-maker/gallery/.
There will also be an option to produce images with a transparent
background.

The service will be free to use while it's in beta testing and produces
.tiff images that are 841 x 595 pixels. Bigger images will be possible when
we launch the full pay-as-you go service.

It will probably be another week or so before we actually launch the free
beta version, but if you want to sent us your molecules as .jmol files
using a 841 x 595 pixel viewer in JSmol we would be happy to see if we
could produce something for you with our new service. It would be a good
test for us before we launch it!

Cheers

Chris
