Job Title : Java ATG developer Duration : 12 Months Contract Location : Secaucus, NJ 07094 Rate: Open Project Description & Skills Required: Provides leadership and direction on technical projects that affect our websites. In this role you will work with a team transitioning into a J2EE architecture using ATG for eCommerce and other supporting applications. The candidate will need to provide mentorship and direction to an existing team during the development life cycle as they learn the existing business infrastructure and help lead development on future eCommerce growth. Preference will be given to candidates that have successfully implemented ATG Commerce. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize existing Java/ATG development experience to guide development lifecycle through potential pitfalls and "best practice" J2EE development standards Analyze customer business requirements and software/product objectives; develop an application design in products to meet customer needs. Serve as a technical advisor and problem solver to business and partners to assist them in optimizing their use of the J2EE/ATG language to define, build and deploy online commerce and self service applications Estimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project Translate management and creative content requirements into visual and architectural design Work closely with others assigned the tasks of web content development and web data analysis Keep up-to-date on ATG and Java web technologies and developments Update and troubleshoot corporate web sites Implement technologies to interact with databases and render information via web browser JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Mathematics, Software Engineering or a related field.
