Weekend Work required: NO Travel Required: Occasional *Primary Role: Infrastructure Specialist* * * *Primary Skill Set: Microsoft* * * *Comments / Other Skills: Systems Engineer (Citrix) Resource* *Primary Skills: * Citrix Web Access, Citrix Application servers, Terminal server services and Citrix Edge sight tools, Citrix capacity, performance and availability metrics, Citrix 4.0 and 4.5 *Secondary Skills: * Microsoft Windows Server 200x (64bit experience a definite plus), Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange server and Networking Please ensure candidates have all required skills. *Systems Engineer (Citrix)* *Summary: * Provide engineering, systems maintenance, and 2nd level support of the Customers Citrix environment and Global Virtual Desktop infrastructure as a member of a Global team supporting Citrix 4.0 and 4.5 levels. *Primary Responsibilities: * • Provide support for the customer Citrix infrastructure that supplies continuity within inter-corporate business Service Level Availability (SLA) agreements. • Support Web Interface Servers and PNAgent configurations. Deploy and maintain the Citrix Edge sight tool complete with alerting and reporting features. • Assist application teams with pre-qualifying and testing new applications to add to shared environments. Manage prioritization of application deployment as they are moved through test and into production environment. • Troubleshoot issues surrounding the configuration of the Citrix environment inclusive of application issues in shared settings. • Produce daily\weekly\monthly reports towards Citrix capacity, performance and availability metrics. • Develop guidelines on Citrix awareness and usage. Work with Helpdesk and\or internal communications to publicize to the user community. • Maintain and update documentation for the Citrix environment. *Experience: * • Minimum 4+ years experience with Microsoft Windows Server 200x (64bit experience a definite plus), Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange server and Networking technologies. • *MCP certification required.* • Minimum 2+ years experience with Citrix technologies. Strong knowledge of Citrix 4.0 and the process to implement Citrix 4.5. Proven track record in Citrix engineering and delivering large-scale national and global initiatives. • Notable experience with Citrix Web Access, Citrix Application servers, Terminal server services and Citrix Edge sight tools. • Proven track record of accurate troubleshooting skills. Must demonstrate the initiative and provide the ability to analyze all server\OS\network related issues to determine the appropriate course of action. Escalate to next level within the proper formatted structure. • Hardware experience with HP Servers including Proliant DL385 and DL585 (blade experience a plus). • Proven track record in areas of confidentiality and security. Ability to earn trust by keeping confidences, being direct and honest. • Ability to set priorities and apply all gained knowledge and new insights to improve processes and results.
