Technical Skills
4+ years in Oracle development, preferably in a large enterprise
database environment
2+ years Informatica experience creating mappings/processes.
Solid experience creating mappings for batch, Change Data Capture, and
Web Services
Solid experience in ETL and Data Warehousing methods and technologies
Experience with:
Informatica performance tuning
PL/SQL
Query tuning
Evaluating Oracle explain plans
Stored Procedures, Functions and Packages
In addition to the standard developer job description at the client,
the Informatica ETL Developer must be able to demonstrate their
ability to perform the following additional skills.
Soft Skills
Able to work independently and with team members (brainstorming, team
building activities, etc)
Communicate with internal and external customers, supervisor and
management, using clear, user-friendly terminology (email, phone,
meetings)
Ability to learn and adhere to department standards for design,
development and quality control
Ability to self-manage time and task priorities to meet project
timelines, and identify potential project risks
Ability to recognize the need for improvement in existing processes
/applications and present via solutions to the team
Able to handle multiple work related tasks
Able to take ownership and follow through with tasks until completion
The ability to work on projects and maintenance tasks
