New position for Oracle Developer Requirements
Lead initiatives to develop scripts and other programs for system monitoring
and maintenance.
Define strategies for backups, migration of database changes, and longer
term system growth
Lead performance analysis and tuning of the databases and applications
Planning and implementation of database/site scalability/capacity
architecture
Make design recommendations to software projects and participate in
technical reviews
Good data modeling experience for relational database
Explains technical constraints in terms that business and PM's can
understand
Good knowledge of PL/SQL, and assisting developers with writing and tuning
database code
Through understanding of backup and recovery process
Solaris System Administration experience is highly desirable
Good understanding of HA solution such as Parallel Processing, RAC and
Replication
Ability to lead cross-functional discussions involving engineering new
methodologies, technologies in RDBMS area
Able to multi-task (work on multiple deliverables at once)
Experience with Veritas Quick I/O, Net backup, Volume Manager and shell
scripting is highly desirable
Ability to follow process and work as part of a team
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to interact with
all levels of client management
