Responsibilities: Role of the Relational Applications Database Administrator is to build and maintain production multiple large high volume online database repositories and application environments. Candidate will work with enterprise wide applications and personnel as well as other team members to establish and maintain high availability of production environments in a challenging, 24 x 7 fast paced atmosphere. A successful candidate will be a member of a team responsible for team deliverables and meeting specified milestones. Candidate will be required to build environments to specifications, set up and modify configurations, install kits, perform advanced troubleshooting and provide root cause analysis, and write shell scripts and SQL queries. A successful candidate will also be able to follow, maintain, document, and help establish standard processes to ensure repeatability. This job requires the ability to work as needed to meet software release deadlines.
