*Additional Skills:*
Must be able to lift Server, NEtwork, SAN equipment. Be able to left atleast
50 Lbs. Also must be able to work in shifts, 1st second and third. Hours
will be Thursday 2pm-9pm, Friday, Sat and Sun 9am-9pm.
*ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- will act as a technical member of the TS Ti Salt lake City Site
engineering team...
- Duties include racking and stacking of server equipment, SAN equipment,
Networking equipment, running Patch cables.
- providing server infrastructure production support to level 2
build/deploy Windows Operating systems and on-call support to the T&SS LOB
through the business aligned iCTO organization.
- In addition they will assist the Windows Implementation Engineering
team in building the windows operating system and ensuring that the server
is in a supportable state.
- Site Engineers will work in multiple shifts thus ensuring 24/7 coverage
of the Woodland Towers and the Consonus Data Centers.
*TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS ***
- In depth knowledge of all aspects of Windows NT/2000/2003 systems
administration; for example, system installation and configuration, printing
systems, fundamentals of security, installing third-party software.
- Well versed in TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, DFS, AD.
- Basic understanding of SAN technologies, Networking equipment, Windows
Server support, Veritas, VMWare, IIS, MS SQL, ASP, Visual Basic.
- 1 to 5yrs of systems administration, server builds, racking and
stacking and engineering experience in a large enterprise environment.
- Extensive knowledge of HP/IBM/Dell hardware platforms.HP strongly
preferred
Must be able to rack and stack servers, install SAN and Networking
equipment. Be able to lift 50 Lbs.
