We have an opening for....... Position: Network Engineer Location: Southfield, MI Duration: 18 Months Must be strong leadership skills. Developing the detailed technical project specifications, including defining the technical environment plan and the technical training plans, and working with the Project Manager to define and document the project management plan by giving input regarding the technical aspects of project execution. . Managing execution of technical project tasks and activities to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and at the expected level of quality by creating architectural decision documents; running technical status meetings, conducting design walkthroughs; conducting work product inspections, including code reviews; managing technical issues and change management processes; procuring and assigning technical resources to project tasks; interfacing with technical support staff; and providing task estimates to the Project Manager. . Following Project Management methodology . Controlling and monitoring technical task completion and milestones relative to the overall project management plan; evaluating and adjusting resource assignments, as required; making recommendations to change plans to reduce risk; compiling technical team status information for status reports and forecasting future costs related to technical project tasks and resources. . Providing technical direction, design and implementation of network and telecommunications architecture supporting the contact center function . Providing capacity management and configuration management of network systems . Managing relationships with HW/SW vendor(s) . Working closely with the Face Architect and Application Lead to ensure functional requirements are successfully supported by the technical infrastructure . Ensuring that the non-functional requirements of applications, such as performance, security and reliability, are satisfied as part of the Project Execution phase Qualifications: . LAN/WAN, Telecommunications, NT, network administration and management and web technologies experience . Data network and computer architectural and design experience . Project management, business planning and budgeting/forecasting experience . Familiarity/experience with Anaya contact center/telephony solutions considered an asset . Familiarity with PBX, call management and IVR technologies Familiarity .
