AD utilities and patching techniques. - Pro-active management of Production database systems, risks mitigation - Expertise in performance monitoring, Instance tuning, SQL tuning. - Good understanding and experience with parallel concurrent managers. - Must be able to do root cause analysis of problems and provide solutions. - Experience with Partitioning - Experience with 10G Oracle on Unix and Linux - RMAN Knowledge - Clustering concepts and products - Oracle Names and OID knowledge - Understands database security and auditing concepts - Experience with Oracle E-Business Database on Oracle 10g RAC is plus ** installation, upgrade - ASM experience a plus - Brokerage experience a plus - Excellent oral and written communication skills; position interacts with mgmt and application teams Likes to work in a fast paced, challenging environment that has many demanding clients Flexibility to be able to work weeknights/weekends to get the job done when appropriate.
