Position: Informatica Developer Location: Bellevue, WA Duration: 3 Months Our client is seeking an experienced and talented ETL Developer to help deliver enhancements to critical Financial applications. You will be a member of a team to develop and maintain systems that provide business-critical transactional and financial data to internal customers (business owners/planners, Finance, etc.) and will work closely with other ETL Developers and Software Design Engineers in addition to Business Owners, Program Management, Test, and Operations teams. Responsibilities include assessing business rules; performing source to target data mapping; implementing and optimizing ETL processes utilizing Informatica v7 and v8; reviewing project plans, development and test specifications; performing data analysis; providing development support for existing systems; troubleshooting data and/or system issues; building/extending toolsets; creating/maintaining batch jobs; creating systems documentation; etc. Qualifications: * Be flexible, motivated to work in a fast-paced environment * Demonstrated experience and technical knowledge working on data warehouse projects * Current (minimum 3years) professional Informatica experience * Linux scripting skills * Strong SQL skills * Experience on DB2 UDB is a strong plus * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * MS/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred, as well as familiarity with e-commerce systems and internet technologies.
