The System Engineer is then responsible for reviewing designs to validate that the designs meet the requirements. The System Engineer is also responsible for performance engineering and calculations to create designs that support usage levels to meet commitments. - Develop Requirements documents, providing sufficient level of detail to enable the design and coding phases of software development - Work with external customers, system partners, and internal teams to create requirements that are sufficient, correct, and achievable - Review design and code to validate that requirement are satisfied - Develop customer facing documentation to describe product capabilities and configurations - Maintain documentation related to ISO-9000 quality metrics process to describe the actions taken in the requirements process *The Candidate Must:* - Have at least a BS degree in an Information Technology discipline with a minimum of 10 years direct professional experience with software architecture, software development, systems engineering, or systems analysis - Have strong understanding of standards uses within the Wireless Carrier environment, and experience with either SS7, and TCP/IP networks, and preferably both - Have direct processional experience in a Unix development environment, and experienced with Unix systems performance engineering - Be well versed in System Development Lifecycle processes with extensive experience coordinating across multiple teams and organizational components - Be willing to perform tasks at all levels of coordination and planning, and be able to establish sound working relationships with multiple project managers and system owners - Be willing to work extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines. *The Ideal Candidate Will:* - Have experience with SMPP, IS-41, and GSM Standards, and knowledge of how to extract meaningful requirements from the various standards - Have experience with Solaris Operating Systems, and Sun Multi-processor hardware - Have a proven history of being able to work independently to research and create accurate analysis of data from various sources - Possess strong written and oral communication skills and professional presentation ability Regards, Pradeep || Phone: 916 646 2080 EXT 214|| Fax: 916 646 2081 || Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] || Website: www.key-soft.com || Note: This email is not intended to be a solicitation.
