The Programmer Analyst role focuses on core business systems and application architecture. You should have at least 1 - 5 years of experience in application development (Visual Basic, .NET, PowerBuilder) and a solid understanding of database development using Ansi Standard SQL, knowledge of Sybase ASE databases a plus. Programmer Analyst play a technical role and are expected to provide technical expertise for their team as well as solid user friendly applications. *Specific Responsibilities:* Design and implement system architecture Develop and enhance core business applications Design and develop database models Ensure that all technical deliverables of a project team adhere to our quality standards Participate in defining and enforcing our coding guidelines and standards Provide robust, user friendly applications Work with project managers to create work estimates and timeframes for technical development tasks Work with project managers to manage technical development tasks and project risk *Required Skills/Qualifications:* Minimum 1 - 5 years in software application development Minimum 1 - 5 years in development and design experience in key enterprise development technologies such as *PowerBuilder 9/10,* JAVA. 3GL programming in Borland C++, Delphi or MS C a plus Minimum 1 -5 years development experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase.
