Short Description:
Programmer/Analyst, Technical Systems Development. Develops and maintains specific application programs and supports other development projects as
needed.
Complete Description:
-Modifies existing and/or creates new software for specific company/clients needs.
-Analyzes end user data and computing needs and develops user oriented
solutions which may/may not interface with existing applications.
-Coordinates all aspects of implementation and training to support new programs/system.
-Writes and/or revises program documentation including operations and user guides.
-Provides input to BAs to prolong system life or to recommend timely replacement.
-Performs software product evaluation, including planning, installation, testing and technical support for the end-user and the operations staff.
-Supports the installation planning for applications program requirements.
-Assists operations staff in the set up, testing and support of the intricate hardware installations.
1).ASP, .NET, outside vendor and CTRL-M experience.
2)Serena Version Manager/PVCS Admin experience
3)Coordinates with Infrastructure and DBAs for emergency ticket resolution
4)Monitors ticket queue to work on new tickets. Provides ticket updates based on progress of work.
5)Completes work on Standard Fulfillment tickets within Service Level Agreement (SLA).
6)Provides communication to other interested parties for emergency tickets
7)Works with DBA team and infrastructure team for production moves
8)Updates architecture diagrams and application inventory documents based on changes to the environment
9)Will participate in the IT on-call rotation.
10)Works to reduce emergency changes outside of normal change window
11)Works on new methods for reducing manual IT and business work.
12)Work with Carlson end-users and business analysts to create technical designs and solutions.
