INFORMATICA DEVELOPER* *Location*:*Glendale**, CA* *Duration:6 Months(contract to Hire)* Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment of The Walt Disney Company that extends the Disney brand to merchandise ranging from apparel, toys, home decor and books to interactive games, food and beverages, stationery, electronics and animation art. *INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY* DCP IT is a technology service provider to Disney Consumer Products, providing a full range of IT services, including: application development, technology strategic planning, program and project management, business analysis, training, and infrastructure planning and support. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* *Primary functions include the following:* • Appling systems and database solutions to business problems through the design and programming of ETL logic and/or data warehouse constructs and presentation layers. • ETL development: performing all aspects of programming assignments, and assists with systems design. • ETL tool administration of the repository • Reports and Dashboards development • Applies knowledge and experience with BI technology and DW development methodologies to perform system analysis techniques, testing, debugging, functionality design, and development. • Understands and adheres to documentation standards, database design and storage. • Application support required ( on call rotation 24 x 7) *EDUCATION:** ** *• 4 year College Degree in Information Technology or related field. *REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:** ** Basic Qualifications:* • Required experience (must have between 5 to 7 years) of working experience with the following: • IBM AIX, DB2/UDB RDBMS • ETL programming tool: Informatica including recent experience on version 8. • Fully knowledgeable of data Integration tool: Informatica (Certification a plus) • Knowledgeable of front-end reporting tool: MicroStrategy). • Experience in ETL design and development with Informatica version 7 or version 8. • Development of advanced mapping and transformations using Informatica Designer. • Creating and managing sessions using Informatica Workflow Manager • Performance tuning of sessions and workflows • Migration of mappings and transformations from one environment to another. • General administration of Informatica environment. • Source to target analysis and mapping design • Exposure in Dimensional Modeling techniques • Advanced SQL skills: solid understanding of SQL (sub-queries, minus/union, inline queries) • Experience with DB2/UDB , Oracle and SQL Server databases. • Solid Unix shell scripting and CRON *Desired skills:* • Exposure to SQL Server DTS is a plus • Knowledge of IBM Maestro Software is a plus • Knowledge of IBM Rational Software is a plus *Personal/professional abilities, geographic considerations, work style:** * * *• Self starter, independent thinker, and worker • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Analytical thinker • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Proven facilitation skills managing in a matrixed environment • A participative, collaborative, and open style • Strong customer service orientation • Demonstrated history of delivery of releases and enhancements in the context of consistent and capable management of existing systems is a plus • Self motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good self organizational skills, able to multi-task • Likes to problem solve • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Results-Oriented, Able to take projects and guide them to completion independently Regards, Pradeep || Phone: 916 646 2080 EXT 214|| Fax: 916 646 2081 || Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] || Website: www.key-soft.com || Note: This email is not intended to be a solicitation.
