Name: Software Developer with , C/C++, Audio/Video Sub Systems, MPEG, ATSC, & DVR, Java, Linux, Clearcase UCM Location: United States - Horsham, Pennsylvania Duration: 1year Description: Department Description: The HD/DVR software development team is responsible for the design and development of the Client layer of software that ships with each set-top box. This layer includes, but is not limited to: audio, video (MPEG), graphics, closed captioning, subtitles, section filters, table processing, USB, network, and Digital Video Recorder. Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations: Integrate software for the HD/DVR Set-top products that meets both the System's and Software requirements. - Follow all department processes in regard to software integration. - Help create integration plans, schedules and other documentation to support the integration of software releases. - Review and provide technical input to PMR, PFS and other documents for releases. - Design, implement and support development of new set-top hardware platforms. - Design, implement and support Clearcase UCM stream configurations for releases. - Design, implement and support Integration activities for embedded set-top platforms. Specific Knowledge/Skills: Embedded Software, Real Time OS, C/C++, Audio/Video Sub Systems, MPEG, ATSC, & DVR, Java, Linux, Clearcase UCM. Position Requirements: Experience Level - 7 - 10 Years .Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's client/server software applications. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client server concepts. .Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
