We need a back up for this position. Client : XXXXXX Location : Bay area Duration : 3-6 months PL only send candidates who talk well and leads Business Applications section needs additional staffing for the BI group due to: (1) Down headcount for Business Intelligence (TM resigned in 2007); (2) Requirements for architecting the Business Intelligence environment in support of the upgrade; (3) Resource demand for supporting the effort to rewrite/convert the Impromptu reports as Report Net reports in preparation for the upgrade; and (4) Customer Demand - rapid growth of critical Service Requests for Cognos solutions. The Technical Consultant will support Business Applications BI team with Cognos support. This consultant will assist the section in completing open BI (Cognos / Informatica ) related Service Requests in anticipation of Cognos upgrade project. This is a temporary need to augment the technical application development staff until a candidate is identified to fill the open headcount.
