Title: SQL Server ETL Resource

Duration: 6 month +

Location: NYC, New York

Rate : $ 45/hr

 

Minimum Requirements: Qualifications;

7+ years of SQL Server Developer along with at least 2 years of Analysis &Integration Services (i.e SSIS) experience

Extensive experience in SQL Server Database  Architecture  experience.

Strong ETL /  Analysis & Integration Services / Data warehouse experience

Candidate must be highly proficient in SQL Server 2000 and 2005 operationsand T-SQL.

Experience working with highly volume databases with partitioned data,performance and tuning experience is required.

Performance tuning/MS SQL development skills - SQL Profiler, Performance Monitor and Explain Plan assessment, SQL scripts, stored procedures,

triggers, functions and transactions analysis, thorough understanding of indices and statistics (Query Optimizer) in both 2000 and 2005 for

databases.

Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts, including and not limited to: star schemas, snowflakes, ETL processes,  dimensional modeling and reporting tools

Experience working with and within cross functional Development, QA, Test and Production Teams.

Excellent analytical skills, the ability to integrate information from multiple sources to execute effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment

Pursue a proactive approach to problem solving.

SQL Server developer certifications a plus.
