Title: Java Tech Lead
LOCATION - DALLAS (NEXT TO DALLAS FORT WORTH) CONTRACT - 6 MONTHS + Rate: Open Qualifications: * Strong knowledge of Project Management best practices, methods, and tools * Proven track record for delivering IT development projects using structured Project Management and System Development methodologies/practices * RUP/UML Methodology experience preferred * Possess good time management & organizational skills - ability to work under the pressure of deadlines * Must be flexible - ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously/effectively and work in a fast-paced, changing environment * Ability to lead and motivate people, encourages teamwork, and communicates/collaborates with all levels of the organization * Superior analytical, organization, problem solving, and interpersonal skills * Excellent verbal/written communication skills * College degree required Requirements: * Five years minimum experience in software development industry * Working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis/Object Oriented Design methodologies and life cycles * Displays ability to work and communicate equally well with lead developer, architects, project managers, business and QA analysts * Demonstrates hands-on expertise in J2EE technologies, specifically, Java, Websphere, ATG, Struts, Spring, JMS, and JDBC * Participates in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions * Utilizes object oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test software systems * Uses test driven development techniques including JUnit * Investigates and resolves problems on software products and systems * Identifies areas for code improvement and refactors code * Participates in requirements review sessions * Contributes to project estimation process * Performs peer code reviews * Prepares system documentation.
