Position: ALE, EDI, SAP Consultant Location: PA Duration: *6+ months*
Start Date: *ASAP* ** ** *Location / Duties and Responsibilities* · Analyze business requirements. May require extensive reading and research of documentation of previously developed EDIs or ALEs on other landscapes. · Design, Develop (configure and code), test EDIs and ALEs for multi-landscape environment to accommodate custom requirements and functionality. · Use established project documentation tool (EPN) and templates · Follow established strategies, standards, guidelines and procedures during all phases of the project. · Develop technical test cases, test the developed EDIs and ALEs (both unit and integration) and problem solve identified errors. Use ABAP debug to assist in problem solving · Participate in peer technical reviews. - Define batch jobs for Idoc processing. *Skill Requirements* - *Ability to build strong working relationships with project teams and customers.* - *Excellent oral and written communication skills.* - *Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.* - *Experience in SAP ALE configuration (Distribution models, filters, conversion rules)* - *Experience in SAP EDI configuration* - *Experience working with SAP IDocs – extensions, reductions, IDoc processing function modules, Trading Partner configuration, IDoc batch job processing* - *Experience in the SD process areas.
