The consultant must possess And maintain strong SQL Server expertise as required in the maintenance and development of enterprise database architecture in a Windows 2003 environment. The individual in this position is responsible for providing Database Administration as well as helpdesk support and network connectivity/transport issues for MS SQL Server. 1-7 years of experience administering MS SQL Server (2000/2005) Skilled in backup/recovery of SQL databases Skilled with T-sql and SQL stored procedures Skilled in troubleshooting and resolve database problems Experience monitoring and optimizing MS SQL Server Administering security of SQL Server and databases Knowledge of RDBMS database design principles for OLTP and/or DSS Systems.
